Candle Pouring + Beginners Weaving Workshop

Begin the evening by creating your own one-of-a-kind candle, from beginning to end! Start by choosing up to 3 fragrances from The Wick Lab's impressive fragrance wall, showcasing 100 frangrances. After choosing your scents and container, head over to the bar to set your wick, mix your oils and pour your wax!  

While your candle is curing, head back to our workshop space where you'll enjoy a 2 hour workshop with local weaving and textile artist Makennah Aagard of Lou & Thread. In this workshop you will learn how to plan your design, how to properly warp your loom, how to weave in the four most basic techniques, as well as how to create varying pops of texture and movement.  

 The class comes with take-home materials which include: 

-1 x Beech Wood Weaving Loom

-1 x Shuttle Stick

-1 x Tapestry Needle
