Booking a group experience is a fantastic way to ensure reservation seats for all your friends and family! This semi-private experience provides additional ‘perks’ not enjoyed with a standard reservation:
Reservation & Booking Fees: At The Wick Lab we value transparency, and want you to have proper expectations before arrival so we can facilitate the best experience! It is important you know we plan and manage our staffing around reservations and anticipated guests. “No-shows” really hurt small businesses, and so we uphold a firm booking policy to make sure everyone has a great time.
There is a $5 (before tax) per participant through our reservation software for Group Experiences, which allows you to manage your own reservation, and gives you the flexibility up to 24 hours in advance of your time slot to make any changes or to cancel. This fee is non-refundable (only transferable) and cannot be applied to the in-store total.
IMPORTANT:
If you cancel your group experience within 24 hours of your time slot (or no-show), you will still be charged the minimum price of a candle pouring experience per participant, which is $24.99 ea. This penalty will be charged to the card on file used for the Booking Fee.
Please keep your booking up to date to avoid these charges. You can update your booking up to 24 hours beforehand by clicking the link underneath the image of your confirmation email. If you would like assistance making changes to your booking, please contact us via email at reservations@thewicklab.com.
Gift Cards unfortunately do not integrate with our booking platform at this time.
Pricing: Our in-store pricing ranges from $24.99-$36.99, depending on your candle container or flameless product selection. The pricing of your chosen candle container or flameless product is inclusive of all materials and instruction needed to create your custom product from beginning to end.
We also offer a number of optional ‘add-ons’ including lids, wood wicks, glitter and more at an additional cost.
Pick-Up: We need to keep candles after the pouring to allow them to properly set. We strongly encourage you to pick up on another day for this process to be most effective. Customers who are unable to pick up another day may be eligible for same-day pick up. Please see our FAQ page to learn how to quailfy for same-day pick up.
Abandonment Clause: You have 14 days from the day you poured your candle to pick it up. Candles left longer than 14 days will be considered abandoned and ‘put up for adoption’ through our Adopt-A-Candle Program. Proceeds from every Adopt-A-Candle sale goes to a local charity.
Can’t swing a pickup? We ship domestically for a flat rate of $12 for up to 4 candles.
Tax-Exempt Purchases: For organizations and institutions eligible for tax exempt transactions, the purchaser must complete and sign the TC-721 or TC-721-G form and email it to info@thewicklab.com at least 48hrs PRIOR to their visit. Tax will NOT be waived without this form completed and submitted to info@thewicklab.com.
