Welcome to The Wick Lab: a custom candle making studio. Choose up to 3 fragrances from our impressive fragrance wall (showcasing 100 fragrances!) to include in a truly unique fragrance for your candle – hand poured by you! From setting your wick to mixing your fragrance oils, you make your candle from beginning to end. We use 100% soy wax, premium fragrance oils, and pure cotton or wood wicks. That means no harsh chemicals or yucky additives! Not a fan of candles? Try one of our flameless options! Waft on in to The Wick Lab, for a truly unique hands-on retail experience!
Pricing ranges by product type & size. The retail price of your in-store selection includes all necessary materials, instruction & clean up needed to create your custom product from beginning to end!
We offer a number of optional ‘add-ons’ including lids, wood wicks, glitter & more at an additional cost.
Participant-Product Policy:
A participant is defined as a person making 1 (or more) product. We do not offer sharing.
The head count of any reservation made online should yield the same (or more) number of products made in store.
If someone wants to accompany you or your group to observe the process, we welcome them! However, they are NOT considered a participant and should NOT be included in the head count for a reservation. If there are seats available, observers may use them – but seats are prioritized for those who are making a product; observers will be asked to stand should we need to seat paying customers.
In the event a reservation head count does not yield the same (or more) number of products made in store, a $24.99 fee – per “missing” product – will be charged for the reservation head count to be satisfied. The charge(s) will be issued to the cc on file of the person who made the booking.
Pick-Up: We need to keep candles after the pouring to allow them to properly set. We strongly encourage you to pick up on another day for this process to be most effective. Customers who are unable to pick up another day may be eligible for same-day pick up. Please see our FAQ page to learn how to qualify for same-day pick up.
Abandonment Clause: You have 14 days from the day you poured your candle to pick it up. Candles left longer than 14 days will be considered abandoned and ‘put up for adoption’ through our Adopt-A-Candle Program. Proceeds from every Adopt-A-Candle sale goes to a local charity.
Can’t swing a pickup? We ship domestically for a flat rate of $12 for up to 4 candles.
Tax-Exempt Purchases: For organizations and institutions eligible for tax exempt transactions, the purchaser must complete and sign the TC-721 or TC-721-G form and email it to info@thewicklab.com at least 48hrs PRIOR to their visit. Tax will NOT be waived without this form completed and submitted to info@thewicklab.com.
Unfortunately, gift cards cannot be used for online bookings at this time.
