Candle Pouring + Hand Lettering Workshop

Create your own one-of-a-kind candle, from beginning to end! Start by choosing up to 3 fragrances from The Wick Lab's impressive fragrance wall. After choosing your scents and container, head over to the bar to set your wick, mix your oils and pour your wax!

While your candle is curing, head back to our workshop space. Learn the fundamentals of composition and design in this 2-hour in-person workshop, with local artist Hayley Barry. In this class, you will cover all the important steps to creating a unique and functional lettering composition including layout, balance, hierarchy, negative space, flourishing illustration and more! During this workshop, you will receive instruction and one-on-one coaching from Hayley Barry of Type Affiliated and will leave with the skills needed to create one-of-a-kind compositions of your own. 

The class comes with take-home materials which include:

- 1 Composition and design workbook 

- 1 black pilot v5 pen

- 1 pencil

- Paper for the class

Treats will be served! 

Candles will be ready for pick-up after the workshop.
